It also prescribes a fidelity requirement: an association with more than five units must maintain a fidelity bond covering persons who control or disburse association funds, including the managing agent and its employees, in an amount equal to 500 dollars multiplied by the number of units. The board is separately directed to obtain directors and officers liability coverage at a level it deems reasonable, unless the declaration or bylaws provide otherwise.
